We break the cap mildly to expose the lighter aggregate on the top of the slab giving the floor a "salt & pepper" aggregate look.

Exposed AggregateList Item 3
A full metal bond to resin succession. Slab will be grinded until full size large aggegrate is shown. Pit grouting will most likely need to be applied. This is a breathtakingly beautiful floor.
